Brown has been a defensive power for Wildcat legend Antonio Pierce, who has coached him for the past three seasons on varsity. In three seasons, Brown has racked up 339.5 tackles, 8.5 sacks and five interceptions. He is tied for second in school history in career tackles. Info per azdesertswarm.com
Brown earned high honors throughout his senior campaign. He was recently named Long Beach Poly's Athlete of the Year and was named to the US Football National Team. He was just recently named Defensive Player of the Year.
Josh Brown has a very good chance at seeing the field early this season over some of the other linebackers in this class. Check out some of his highlights below.
Has the size and heart. Like Scooby, he does not shine with quickness or speed, but always finds a way to the ball. Loves the game and leaves it all on the field. One of my favorite players from this class. Actually I love the LBs in this class! Just with the OL was a little deeper come next year.
