Arizona bound. He's a traditional transfer who will sit next season
Now THIS is the type of player we need!
This kid's highlights have him looking like a sniper!
Exactly what we would need against the zone teams will try to throw at us.
Bring him in Miller!
You needed a second opinion Alum?
I'm sold and Air-Zona says he's Arizona bound?
I haven't been this eager for an announcement since...Rabb even though we didn't win that recruitment.
Wonder where he heard Baker was Arizona bound.
Baker will be visiting UofA soon. Kentucky & Arizona were his final 2 schools when he picked Kentucky over UofA. Arizona has good chance to land him the 2nd time around.

Nice another guard who can shoot the basketball for next year.

He would have to sit out 2019-20 season.
He would essentially be a 2020 prospect for us.
Love the fact he would have to sit given our projected loses and needs for 2020.
I personally don't see the excitement for this kid. Had to sit out his freshman year due to a knee injury and for a shooter only shot 31% from the 3 and 33% from the field. I think I'd rather land Umade and look for a shooter in the 2020 class.
I have mixed emotions. We should need a SG in 2020 (assuming Hazzard graduates and Green leaves).
This kid will be stronger and more mature than a freshman...however he seems to be selfish on his recruiting videos. He makes some beautiful passes, but generally takes contested jumpers without hesitation.

I don't have any real insight into UK basketball and why Jemarl struggled to see the floor or why he didn't shoot well when he did
Here are a few thoughts for optimism:
-He is already regarded as an elite shooter
-He is freakishly quick laterally and is already regarded as an elite perimeter defender
-He will be 22 with 3 years of experience around high major basketball (1 year with Miller's system) by the time he's ready to play for us. I believe he would transfer redshirt next year which would make him a 22 year old redshirt sophomore!
If he can come in and be our lockdown defender and shoot 40% from deep we obviously want him

No doubt. I do think he could potentially be a solid player for us should he commit, but he just wouldn't on the top of my list of transfers if it were up to me I'd probably prefer someone like Brown or Umade instead.
And for his poor shooting there are number of reasons that could have effected his shooting. For one he did sit out a whole year due to injury and was obviously going to experience some rust. And Kentucky is obviously a tough place to find minutes if you're not an NBA ready caliber player. Which could have very easily effected his confidence and rhythm ultimately leading to his lackluster numbers. But my biggest concern really is his injury I don't know if there's any history with potential knee problems but it's a bit concerning especially after seeing it effect us last year with Williams (Knee) and Jeter (Back) and now Green with his shoulder issues.
Baker is on campus right now taking his visit wonder if browns is over already. Sean Miller booked a busy weekend.
See if miller can pull in brown an baker.
Baker will be a Wildcat.
Thank for the update wild .

Great start to the 2020 class! Thanks Wild!
I understand he struggled at Kentucky hopefully he doesn't at arizona if he comes hear
Baker is currently on his official visit. Don't be surprised if he commits during or shortly after.

I am fine with this.
Bringing in some veterans to be surrounding what appears to be an even younger team in 2020-21.
Bring them in Miller!
Also would like to get jordan brown.

Still possible, as of right now (to the public), DesJardins still holds a scholarship.
I would bet if Brown wanted to come, that scholarship would go to him.
Or we may have some more departures than the two alleged ones (Randolph/Smith).
