Title: What’s the return policy on Sumlin???
Post by: rickkanjurmarg on April 11, 2019, 02:34:40 AM
We had a good win against Oregon and a couple other pretty good games. With that said...

To say his first season was a "success" would be a lie. Weren't there like 4-5 first year coaches in the Pac12 this year? I believe we have the worst record of all?

I currently live in Texas, not far from A&M. While I was excited we got Sumlin, all A&M fans warned me not to be. They told me that besides being an average coach, he rode the coat-tails of Johnny Manziel way too long; they appear to be right.

Looks like we have another handful of years being a 5-6 win team.

Can we let the guy have at least ONE year with SOME of his OWN players first, please?  Like ANYBODY is going to recruit as good as or better than Alabama and LSU in the SEC?  Heck, everybody and their MOMMA were bigger and faster than ANYTHING RichRod put on a PAC-12 field.

Talent DOES matter in this league.  We had some ballers! But, we did not compare, talentwise.

This is EXACTLY the reason why they put safety caps on pharmaceuticals!
