Kira Lewis Jr. scored 20 points against Arizona this season, including making a big shot that won the game, and now the Wildcats are one of the programs with early interest in the Alabama transfer. The freshman averaged 13.5 points this season.

Here are highlights from his matchup vs Murray State and NBA prospect Ja Morant.
He had 24pts & 4rebs in this game.
This would be a great get - hope Miller can land him.
He's a baller! Would love to have him on the Wildcats! Would he have to sit out next year wherever he transfers per NCAA rules?
I don't think he'd have to sit out a year since their coach was fired, based on the new rules.

Hmm so if he doesn't have to sit out a year, he's either going to compete with Nico for playing time or go somewhere else. I don't think he would redshirt, but who knows. I hope he comes to UA
If he didn't have to sit, it would be him/Nico/Brandon as our PGs.
Not so sure we would NEED him, but I definitely would want him if he had to sit a year.
You would have to think there is a better opportunity out there than to come in and compete against Nico and Brandon for minutes.
If we can figure out a decent rotation and convince him of it then bring him in Coach!
This article says he would have to sit out next year so I'm not sure but you can never have to many good guards. I'm sure we could get him minutes if he's able to play and with Williams knee issues it'd be nice to have another guy in the backcourt. Didn't realize he was the youngest player in division 1 last year so he has a ton of potential.

I think he would seek a waiver based on his coach getting fired. Correct me if I'm wrong, but waivers because of a coaching change seem to be granted fairly often?

Yes they do.
Between coaching changes, family reasons and health issues and wanting to be closer to home, you are almost guaranteed to get your waiver granted.
