Arizona Vs Utah game discussion thread 2/14/19 7pm ESPNU
The Wildcats are coming off a bad home loss to Washington St. They are now 14-10 & 5-6 in the Pac12. They will be facing a Utah team that is 13-10 & 7-4 and is coming off big come back win over UCLA on a last second shot. Sedrick Barefield is the leading scorer for Utah averaging 16.3ppg. There is no game line out as of yet, but the ESPN match-up predictor gives Arizona a 45.6% chance of winning.
Let's talk about how you think the Wildcats will do against the Utes.
BearDown!
Is Jeter 100% yet? Is Williams back at 100%? If those two are back and healthy then I think we recover. If they are not then we can continue to struggle. For some reason this team has not even begun to gel yet. You can see flashes of it, but it never stays long. Lately it has stayed hidden away.
Jeter says he's now 100%. Williams is feeling Bette and is planning on coming back, but it's up to him as to when.
I'm worried about Utah. I don't want us to lose 6 in a row, so this is a really big game for Arizona basketball. We need to right the ship.
I've been trying to be optimistic but I see doom and gloom on this one. Back on the road, team in disarray and no leadership. We do have the players to win but they've shown nothing lately that makes me think it will be at Utah.
Not optimistic, but definitely hopeful.
Early odds favor the Utes -3.5, not that the odds makers have been close last couple of Cats games.
Going with the Blue Uni's against Utah

- We started the season with a decent roster
- We have learned this team has no shooters
- Omar quits - bummer, but not much of an impact at the time
- Akot QUITS - (damn him). his impact was far greater than we thought. I have ZERO respect for a quitter
- Jeter is not 100%
- Our 'glue guy' BWill is out. We can't win without BWill
- Randolph is an enigma
We have a perfect storm. Bear Down, Arizona. Let's beat ASU and move on

Agree with all of these comments. I don't know Akot's story and maybe he had a good reason but you don't quit in the middle of something.
