Has anyone heard anything about an indoor practice facility being planned? I was thinking that would probably be our new AD's first order of significant business. Almost a standard for power 5 schools to have an indoor facility for football practice now but even more important in Tucson where these kids are playing in dangerous heat and dangerous and unpredictable monsoons. At least something temporary (like ASU's inflatable lol) until funding can be raised?
Figure the new AD will have to settle in a bit before tackling something that big. The reconnecting with old supporters will help with the funding if he can get that done. Also it has to be versatile enough to use for more than just football.
Yea, I guess you are right. New AD needs to get to kno the bigger donors first. But man do we need that facility!
That's definitely something that's being talked about as the players are getting up at like 430 in the morning to practice with each other before it gets too HOT🔥
