It seems like Arizona under Sean Miller has almost always had a true, big bodied, center used for a lot of screen action and seal outs. Once Ristic leaves we will have Chase Jeter as the closest thing to a true center. Personally I don't have high expectations for Jeter and the 2018 class is severely lacking in true centers. I really really like Bryan Penn-Johnson as a possible 4 yr guy. Kid has a nearly 10ft standing reach lol. He is very raw and from what I understand he just started playing basketball seriously a few years ago. Is there anyone on the radar from a juco or overseas? Any thoughts on that situation?
I agree and think he could turn out to be a player that can dominate on defense. Don't get me wrong I still want us to get Bol Bol or Bagley, but we need a true center and this guy looks like he'll be just that.
Couldn't agree more.
