I'm not going to be the fan that says we didn't need him and whatnot, but it is unfortunate.
Now we appear to be down to Robinson-Earl and Nnaji for realistic options at this point in the year.
We still have to go through the season and we all know how movement happens once coaches get fired, players declare for the NBA, transfers and departures.

JRE was already down to nova and Kansas

Being completely honest, I would be just fine with the class we have right now.

A lot of dominoes could still fall, or we could be sitting here in 2019 (God willing) talking about our bigs being Jeter/Lee/Gettings and Koloko going into the season.
We better do something...Because with JRE going to Nova that still leaves KU after Nnaji. We need the size. The 2020 class offers very very little in terms of big men and for that reason they will all be highly sought after. We need to reach out to some other big men in the '19 class. True post players may be disappearing from basketball, but not versatile 6'10"+ players. They are just as important as ever to a team's success.
With the list of prospects we have offered to far, and assuming Miller wants to bring in another big, Nnaji and Turner are our last options as we stand right now.
I would encourage us to relax though as there is still a lot of time left in this recruiting calendar.
Between the coaching firing/hiring, declarations to the NBA, and transfers, a lot of prospects can come available in the spring before the LSP.
It is nice to have the majority of our class locked down before we even start the season though.
