Nico Mannion already working on recruiting 5-Star Josh Green to Arizona. Check out the tweet below.

I don't think the North Carolina fan base truly understands how influential Nico's friendship with Josh Green could end up being in Josh's decision.
If I were a well-informed, educated UNC fan that didn't take fake classes to earn my degree, my confidence would be taking a considerable hit right about now.
History has shown that most "good/best friend" relationships don't equate in landing both prospects.
I try to stay even-keel, but I never buy into the impact a close friend has one trying to influence the other to follow and commit to the same school.
Hopefully I'm wrong though..
I think Nico's commitment gives Arizona a slight edge, however Roy has proven that his consistent fast-paced offense will attract high-end recruits.
Josh fits the Tar Heel system perfectly and I think we have a 50% chance of landing him.
Fingers crossed that he pulls the trigger while visiting Tucson!
NC has a number of real advantages as well.
Students are not required to actually take classes they have to attend or do work in.
No accountability to the NCAA for anything so they talent will always be there.
No micro scope type oversite like Arizona receives so no pressure.
The NCAA bias for the ACC vs. the PAC 12 will always end in NC's favor.
Won't have to deal with the limited TV exposure.
Won't have to deal with the incompetent PAC 12 Refs.
Just to name a few...
To Arizona's advantage...Green will likely earn more minutes in Tucson.
UNC is stacked (Kenny Williams will be the only Senior guard on this year's roster) and he will just be another piece to a Final Four run for Roy Williams.
The academic thing is likely a moot point because I don't think Nico/Josh plan to play college basketball for 4 years...although I'd love it if they did.
