You've got to be excited to hear yet again from a recruit & current players that Sean Miller is letting it be known we are going to a more perimeter-oriented, faster style next season. Below you'll read about Nico adding Kentucky & UNC to his list, but Arizona is in the drivers seat to land the 5 star PG.
Instead of cutting down his list to five finalists Wednesday, Nico Mannion actually added Kentucky & UNC to his list.
Mannion said he's planning to cut his list down sometime after the July evaluation period ends this weekend and then start scheduling visits. But he said he isn't planning to make a commitment until January or February because he wants to take official visits during the season in order to get a feel for the regular-season environment.
Mannion said he thinks Arizona might change to a more perimeter-oriented, faster style next season and that he is curious to see how it plays out.
"I want to watch them play and see how their style changes, if it changes," Mannion said, and "see who they recruit, who's coming in and who's staying and stuff like that."

Yea so it sounds like style of play May be important to him an uptempo offense guard oriented plus to new teams have entered his recruitment he also mentioned he wanted to see who is staying an who is leaving
So Miller will have to show him that uptempo offense.
Updated original post above with video interview of Nico talking about Arizona and more ⬆️
"see who they recruit, who's coming in and who's staying and stuff like that."
I hate that.,. I get it but I hate it. :(
So, are these new schools recruiting Green too?
if pace of play is a determining factor...UNC will have an advantage. Roy likes to run.
Let's remind Nico that Nova (134th), Kentucky (181st) and Arizona (204th) were all within 1.4 "possessions per game" of each other. Not a huge margin.
Makes me little nervous now that he will be visiting the top blue blood schools an sounds like guard oriented offense an uptempo offense an talking about who is staying an who is going makes me think he is worried about a position on next year's team an wants to see the offense an now sounds like we have to wait till next year decision I thought he would decide in the upcoming months.

Assuming Miller starts both Williams and Coleman, what makes you think he won't start Williams and Mannion in 2019?
The only thing I "worry" about with prospects would be this new offense.
This would Miller's first season running it, so there will be kinks and bumps in the road.
It could be a negative, or a chance for Miller to say,
"If we had you in there, we would have been able to do.....which is what I want to do..."
It's too early to tell, but if we get one of Mannion/Green to commit, I believe the other will follow.
Then it won't matter as much about position because Miller will be going back to recruiting the best prospects for his system regardless of who is here and letting dominoes fall how they may.
I agree I can see nico an b. Willams starting together I am excited to see uptempo offense this year an based on who is on our team we mostly have guards and wings so I think we have to play faster we don't have the low post presence we have had.
