The 6'9 Forward ended the season averaging 16.7 points and 6.6 rebounds, earning an second-team All-Ivy selection and playing a major role in clinching the Red's first-ever postseason berth in the Ivy League tournament.

Thanks for posting this we definitely need another big so no surprise Miller is going after him. Would love to hear from someone who has seen the guy play but the stats don't look terrible. 17 pts, 7 rebs, 3 assists a game last year. Guy is 6'8" 250 lbs, shot 4 3pters a game and shot 37%. Looking at his 2 pt % at 55% tells me he doesn't go inside a ton for a big guy. He also has never averaged 1 steal or 1 block per game in his career which could point to a lack of defensive ability.

Bring him in Miller, Bear Down!

Once JB decided (or was forced to decide) on Nevada, I didn't get the feeling that Braun was going to be our the final piece to our 2018 recruiting class.
Miller is still pulling out all of his tricks while he still has time.
Good to see, now let us see how this recruitment plays out..

I love how Miller is heavily recruiting 2019 and 2020 at the same time. These grad transfers will be great to help us get back on our feet

I think it might be good to note that Gettings is a California native.
He may want to be closer to home and play for an semi-elite program..

Oh awesome!  So glad there is another grad transfer PF available.  Still need at least one more guy for frontcourt depth.  The 2019 class is going to need to be frontcourt heavy for sure.

Welp, he's not going to be playing for anyone this year. Looks like he's actually going to redshirt this upcoming season because he won't graduate until December

The forward will save his final year of NCAA eligibility and opt to take a redshirt season next year. Gettings said he plans to graduate in December before transferring to another college.

"I decided to graduate early in December, Gettings told The Sun. It will save myself a ton of money and I will have another year to play somewhere else."

I read that tweet and misunderstood what it meant.
Most programs won't have a spot available for a grad-transfer in December.
He's smart though, getting another summer/fall of free classes before he leaves.

So will he have immediate eligibility in January?  And if so would he then get 1 1/2 years of eligibility at the school he picks?  Either way, like the kid's game a lot.
