We really need to land this kid. If last night taught us anything it's that guard play is everything in the tournament. We had arguably the two best post players in the field (including a generational talent) and got whooped by some aggressive guards from a program that had never won a tourney game. Despite having been a guard himself, Miller has always had a penchant for bigs and is probably over reliant on them. McConnell, NJ are two of my favorite cats of all time but they were never the kind of guards capable of creating their own shot. Trier was incapable of playing within the system. Parker was too short. I don't think I need to say anything about Gabe York. We really need to land some balanced guards with decent size
TJ could hoop. No issues with him. We cut down nets in 2014 if it weren't for the injury to BAsh. The rest I agree with you on. We used to be known as Point Guard U but we haven't lived up to that moniker. Brandon Williams is the type of guy that could get us back on the right track.
