Sean Miller & Lorenzo Romar watched & offer Devonaire Doutrive 6'5 180LB 4 star SG. Was a teammate of Shareef O'neal & Brandon Williams on the AAU team California supreme.

This is the 2nd prospect that has been teammates of Williams/O'Neal, the other was the 2019 SF, or he may have been 2018.
Miller and Romar are trying to turn over every stone to get the recruits we need without going full "Oregon transfer route" to do so.
We will have to sit on our hands to find out how this class will turn out.
That is a pretty big guard, me likey. We definitely need another big and unless Barcello improves in spades( hoping he has the big Frosh to Soph jump Olson used to covet) we definitely need another option at PG. Beardown!

Did you forget about Williams, who is a top 10 PG?

Nope, I remembered but he hasn't signed a LOI and even with him, having only Barcello and a frosh is pretty shallow for a postition as crucial as point. Maybe D Smith can start to transition but otherwise I'd like to see Miller get another PG somehow find a diamond in the rough or a transfer.

I don't see a reason why Miller won't hand the keys to Barcello.
This off-season is going to answer a lot of questions though.
If we get Barcello AND Williams, and Miller still turns around and brings in a grad-transfer PG, that would be telling.
Barcello/Williams/Smith/Randolph/Akot are all able to bring it up and start the offense, and bringing in another guard, when it is clear we need SF and bigs would be all I need to know on how Miller views our stable of guards going forward.
