Arizona Basketball target Cassius Stanley, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs185- pounds, is still growing. He does not go un-noticed on the court, plain and simple. That said he still decided to choose bright pink kicks to wear in his first game on Friday night at the Pangos All-American camp. Not his favorite shoes, but it helped us locate him for the interview after his dominating performance and I personally loved them.

Stanley, a shooting guard, ranks No. 1 in the country at his position, No. 2 overall in the state of California and the West.  He's a prodigy that is being called the next Vince Carter. Wait till you see his highlight video below.

As a member of the 2019 class, Stanley plays the game with ease and on Friday night he played like he was a 2018 prospect. He can easily score, get open and he is constantly active with the ball in or out of his hands. The effortless way he dribbles, along with his skillful footwork is a sight to see.

Stanley has offers from big-time schools including Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Maryland. Oh yeah, and that school up north, you know the one.

Arizona is in the mix for Stanley, "When the time comes, they [Arizona] will definitely be in my top list." He congratulated Brandon Williams today on Williams' commitment on Twitter. The two both grew up in the San Fernando Valley, they played together in middle school for a little, faced each other in high school and both play for Cal Supreme.

Cal Supreme is the same AAU team that groomed future Wildcats, Shareef O'Neal, and Deandre Ayton.

In our interview with Cassius, he was a pro. Nothing seems to rattle this young man. "It felt great I was just getting out there playing with my friends, just going out there having fun playing basketball," explained Stanley. You honestly feel he is an old soul, older than his years.

There is no hiding Stanley, he is out there for everyone to admire. We will keep up with Cassius as he goes through this exciting recruitment. Bear Down Cassius and thanks for your time!

This kids looks like the real deal.  He also Grew up with Brandon Williams playing on the same team with him in middle school & against him in high school. You can bet Williams is going to work on getting him to Arizona.
