Tito Benach of 247Sports reported late Thursday night that Boles, who committed to Arizona last month, instead will be enrolling at USF in the next few weeks. It's believed he'll be eligible for the 2017 season.
Boles who is from Lakleland, Florida was dismissed from Boise State &was charged by the Boise Police Department for felony mayhem after a Feb. 12 incident in which he allegedly was in a physical altercation with another male at an East End residence, biting him on the ear and tearing a portion of it off. The man who was allegedly bitten was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. A Boise State source said he is a current player on the team.
The word on the reason why he left is was because he had second thoughts about being so far away from his hometown in Florida and was going to be behind the 8 ball as far as classes go. He originally committed to transfer to Florida International in April then changed his mind & committed to Arizona & finally he is now flipped to South Florida.
Keiti Iakopo a junior college transfer could jump right into the spot Boles is leaving open.
Arizona jumps in the mix for 2018 JUCO DT Keiti Iakopo from Golden West College in Huntington Beach. Keiti Iakopo told Scout.com that he is able to leave junior college this year since he was a full qualifier out of high school with Arizona being one of the teams at the top of his list.
