Title: 97 Walk on Alex Merrywell and Coach Theron Aych

Not a lot on Alex. He will be in his second year here.
Bishop Blanchet HS, Seattle Washington.
5'11" 190 lbs. PK. Gotta figure if he were any good he would have played last year?

Coach Theron Aych

Theron is a WR coach and has had some success when you look at his career at the lower levels of football. The players react well with him and his recruiting ties should help in Texas.

Look no further than Larry Tharpe Jr, Justin Belknap, and Parker Zellers for that answer!

He's on the roster so he counts.  With injuries you never know who will get playing time.  Just look at our QB situation last year having to go to a walk on.  Knock on wood as hopefully we don't have to resort to that again.

Isn't our newest QB considered a walk on as well? Could be a star in a couple years.
