Such a tough tenure in Tucson.
Dew was the ONLY Wildcat, who transitioned with the new coaching staff. With tons of promise, she arrived in Tucson as a top-tier recruit. Sadly, she lost her mother...then ended her basketball career after a long attempt to recover from injury.
She is one of the kindest women to play at the U of A. Dew took the time to say hello to my girls at an away game (as a freshman) and she always cheered on her teammates from the bench.
Wishing the best to her and the family in her future.
She never even got a real shot to play college ball. Reminds me so much of Ray Smith.
Nobody deserves this kind of thing.
