A little bit of the OKC Vibe postgame when they all rally behind whoever is the primary interviewer.
Burries stayed super locked in on both ends. I think he is like Maxey. This is serious level now. I think he is ahead of Koa on the Big Board now too.
If you think about what SVP said and what Burries said about "winning 6 straight in March"...
Burries said November prepared us for what is coming now... and what is coming will prepare us for March..
There really is no schedule like this in March Madness. The Big12 Slate coming up is going to be harder than any March Madness configuration possible.
A 1 or 2 vs 16 or 15... then 1 vs 8/9, 2 vs 7/10... those aren't ranked type games.
But Sweet 16 and Elite 8 pose potential for 2 "Ranked" style matchups back to back and Final 4 the same although you never know if a Loyola Chicago/Butler/VCU type slips in.
And you never know who fumbles. It could be us. We fumbled to Princeton obviously. Not every 1 and 2 seed will get to the Sweet 16, so we have to stay prepared to play any level of competition.
So in reality, November was probably the most important to succeed in. This next stretch is Colossal and the Big 12 Tournament will be more like starting off in the Sweet 16 with a game at the level of Round of 32.
This win tonight may have secured us a 3 seed with 6 losses. I don't know if we will lose 6
Footnote:
If I were Koa I wouldn't go pro unless promised Top 4/5. He would definitely go #1-3 next year. I seriously am seeing him in the mid 20's-30 currently which is crazy to me.
Burries shouldn't settle either. Top 8 is where they both belong.
Aristode could really use another year, but he has the Genetic Makeup of someone who would be a good NBA Body. Not just a Dalen Terry with long arms.
Krivas could use another year as well. A shame Bradley will be on his way, but he will definitely make the NBA and be a PG for someone whether 20min+ or 6th man. I see the smooth operation of his game.
