Channing Frye, or Sean Rooks over Ayton, anyday.

Deandre averaged over 20 and 11. Frye and Rooks don't come close, but they were part of better teams. I'd have to agree and have Ayton in my all time starting 5. He was an absolute monster

Damon Stoudamire
Steve Kerr
Luke Walton
Sean Elliott

This group, for me, has all the attributes I'd want as my Top 5

Damon is accurate, but one must take into account that Rothstein knows he needs to rage bait. So his list is skewed on purpose.

A lot of better Top 5's that make more sense in this thread.

It's hard to lot include either Stoudemire. Salim was the purest shooter in college basketball history and Damon ran the show better than anybody.

That is one of the reasons why it is to difficult for me to come up with a five because there are too many guards to choice from.
Thus the nickname, Point Guard U!
My top 5, and my favorite 5 would be different, but if I followed their college careers?

Bibby
Arenas
Elliott
Williams
Ayton

Then you would have the rest of the names that I considered when thinking about my five:

Bayless
Gardener
Frye
Hill
Igoudala
Jefferson
Kerr
Shakur - personal favorite
Simon
D.Stoudamire
S.Stoudamire
Terry
Walton
Woods

I agree with this.

In my Top 5 I included Luke Walton because I would want him as a Glue Guy, High IQ player where my team already has the scoring attributes, but would now have a second facilitator. Luke is pretty underrated. He was a NBA Head Coach for a while. His understanding of the game with Kerr, and Elliott for me is an advantage. Damon was my PG because the High Low with him and Ayton would be insane too.

Luke was extremely underrated because he was surrounded with other crazy talent like Arenas, Iggy, Frye, Salim, etc.  The dude could run the point, shoot from the wing or post up...in addition to guarding every position.
