Spurs and their fans really are spoiled. Carter is a true beast.
They didn't need to draft Dylan Harper at all. He isn't even playing well IMHO.
Carter is better than Keldon Johnson.
Jeremy Sochan has no minutes for a guy who is shooting around 50% from the field.
Devin Vassell is good for them. Really good 3pt shooter, but 1 trick pony.
Harrison Barnes is useless from my POV.
They messed up last year.
Should have traded #2 overall (Harper) + Keldon Johnson + Harrison Barnes and a couple future picks for Kevin Durant (if they needed to throw in Vassell for Salary, fine).
Right now, the Spurs are doing well, but could do better.
De'Aron Fox
Stephen Castle
Vassell
Durant
Wemby
With
Julian Champangie
Carter Bryant
Kelly Olynyk
Kornet
Jeremy Sochan (a good ball handling "PF", a solid amount of Assists last year, played a lot of PG.. could rotate with Fox + Castle easily in that role)
That would be a much more amazing team IMHO - Especially thinking out loud that a 2nd round pick would be enough to pry Russbrook off the lowly SacTown Kings and be even more depth in their back court.
But they are still in the "bunch" where a win or 2 or Loss or 2 will make them the 2 seed or 6 seed.
The Suns are actually right up there too randomly... Not to say they are going anywhere, but they certainly did not lose that KD trade.
Doing all that they did without Jalen Green until yesterday basically and all of this without #10 overall Khaman "The Shaman" Maluach too.
