For not burdening Tommy with the #1 Ranking to squander I suppose.
For true strength is not in possessing the sword. It is in not having to use the sword.
Yes, what a terrible coach. Never given the opportunity to blow the #1 ranking (something that most coaches will never sniff).

Most Coaches? Since when did Arizona become a landing spot for "most coaches".
There are expectations are there not?
Since when is Tommy let off the hook?

We would be #1 if Sean was still here. Instead, he's stuck at a football school collecting another L from Big Game Bob.

True, he just got started at Texas. The money he will have to use is going to purchase him many army's of talent. I am happy for the Penguin. Anyone who isn't was never a fan of Arizona Basketball to begin with.
It is possible to have liked Miller and like Lloyd as well.

I agree. 100%. I am just not sure where that fits for me as I never have once said I don't like Tommy.
In fact, I have some write ups on Tommy that make him sound like he was 10x the man Lute was.
As always, I am just the voice of Fair Criticism and I always preface this by saying I am always going to give Credit when it is Due.

This Penguin, Gotham's Penguin, or Danny Devito's Penguin?
Or the newest Penguin from "The Batman"...
Who did it best?
To be fair, your fair criticism outweighs the credit given by a 10:1 margin (which is a generous number).
Regardless, it's nice to have an opposing perspective, as long as the criticism is deserved.

That may be an illusion as "credit" for this program is a generally accepted principle. There are expectations to succeed. Obviously it is not automatic, but there are expectations.
After reaching four Final Fours in a 14 year span, Arizona hasn't met its expectations in 25 years.
Regardless, the fanbase is loyal, as long as the team is competitive. The Cats are fun to watch and will be relevant in March.
