The man is not afraid. This is a product of knowing that Tommy is not as ruthless and strong willed of a coach. Tommy rides talent. Mick coaches players up. Big difference.
No, Mick you probably didn't have the money for Koa, as Donovan put a Dent in your budget.
That's hilarious. What high-level offensive talent would want to play in Westwood for a guy that can't run an offense?
UCLA ranked 132nd in PPG last season...and 201st in the year prior. Arizona hasn't ranked outside of the Top-25 since Lloyd started.
Year...Koa was a lock for the Bruins if they didn't already have a stellar lineup. Sounds like the comment of a guy with short-man's syndrome.

It is a System. That is like saying Kelvin Sampson, Jay Wright or Tony Bennett never produced any good players.

Possibly true although UCLA has much deeper pockets. The relationships Tommy has made has come in handy without a doubt. College Basketball Father of the Year helps too.
arxpert, so who would you rather play for?
It's a system that recruits don't enjoy. Yes, the defensive minded coaches occasionally get a high-end offensive weapon but if it weren't up to money and playing time, 9 out of 10 high school players would pick Tommy Lloyd over Mick Cronin on a recruiting trip.
