They can call it what they want.
That looks like a seal, not a screen.

Yes, I've noticed this a lot as I am an avid Wizards fan. John Wall + Gortat was poetry in motion. We don't see it as much anymore in the NBA, but OKC uses it a lot with SGA, J-Dub, basically their army of players. Spider Mitchell was able to do it last year with Mobley and Jarrett Allen, though he is more prone to taking deep shots than SGA who is willing to play at All 3 levels. Plus now the Suns have Jordan Ott who was orchestrating this system from the bench for Cleveland... Hope to see Mark Williams, Nick Richards, and more of Maluach this year helping Booker do this exact thing.

Speed demon PGs with a mentality of D-Wade or J-Wall are probably the most dangerous players in the College game as-is. Not many Guards are interested in taking contact and relying on their handles to get to the rim anymore.

This was spotted all the way back to Bradley's true breakout in "maniac mode" during March Madness (notably the Clem(p)son loss) - where no one else wanted to step up to the plate and be "the guy".

Tommy has a lot of marquee losses where the team just doesn't have the Winner's Mentality going into it.

I wrote about this in my Florida post. Having the Veteran PG who doesn't have the "chuck it" play style is a big positive for this team. Florida with Clayton last year was a Winner who hit some clutch deep shots, but also was a man who played inside the 3pt line when needed. Booger Fland was not able to impose his Will the same way, but he did have that 1 shot at the end off the slip...

We are still devoid of Perimeter Defense under Tommy and that has been a big flaw since he came to Arizona.

However, the hope now is Florida can validate themselves and dominate their season. Not just be a fake big bad wolf. So the better they do, the more reasonable it will be to justify saying Arizona is good too.
