While I truly think this will become a low scoring game as a Contrarian, I can see it going into Shoot Out mode.
I made my call, but I also can see a 34-17 Arizona type win too where we can put up points and our Defense makes a couple big plays that turn the tide.

I don't see a Game Discussion thread, but I will put my thoughts down.
Just keep running that ball Brennan. "You" squandered the Big12 and the CFP when you fucked the game away to BYU then Houston... Those wins would have absolved the annual fucking away momentum after a Bye Week. This team could easily have been Undefeated at this juncture or a 1 loss team @Iowa St would have been a bit forgivable by the Committee giving both team's statuses at that time.
Brennan is not a "himothy" of a Football mind, but he is doing better than I cared to admit last year. If anyone followed my comments on him over the summer leading up to Kickoff, I did acknowledge that he built a better team and that I believed we had a ton of Addition by Subtraction in losing T-Mac. Fifita is not a "himothy" and I stand by it, but I still feel he was paid to just showcase T-Mac. Now that all of that is over, I think the offense has had a better approach.
Time to just hold your ground, play it out to 8 Wins. Nothing says we can't get to 9 Wins either.

Now, they have an opportunity to get some Valuable Experience for themselves and the Program as a whole in a "Good" Bowl Game.
Play tough nosed ball and try to be a place that doesn't lose players to NIL Exodus, but becomes a place that is setup for NIL transfers from places like SEC schools to want to come to instead of being 3rd string at a mega-program.
It only takes just a few guys like that to really turn the tide in the Big12, especially at premier positions when we have Playing Time to Offer. QB, DE, OT, CB... Maybe some SEC Safeties can become converted Big12 Coverage LBs / SS style "hitters".
This is where I think Brennan should begin to get judged fairly. It is a 4 game season and All games are highly Winnable in my opinion.

Yup, the BYU/Houston matchups were devastating. The staff was a disaster last season but I don't blame them for those two losses; it's primarily on the players and referees because there were a handful of on-field mental lapses that occurred throughout those two weeks.
Kansas is inconsistent. Similar to Arizona, they have the personnel to succeed but Daniels is extremely scared of holding onto the ball, so they rushes into making bad passes. If he uses his legs, this game will be close. If he forces the ball into coverage, we could run away with this game early.
