Arizona Vs Colorado 🏈 Game Preview/Discussion Thread 11/1/25 5pm FOX

As the crisp Boulder air settles over Folsom Field for Homecoming on November 1, the Arizona Wildcats (4-3, 2-2 Big 12) arrive rested and resolute, fresh off a bye that followed two agonizing one-score defeats to BYU and Houston. At the helm stands sophomore sensation Noah Fifita, third in the Big 12 with 1,829 passing yards and 17 touchdowns, who has seamlessly redistributed the ball to a rebuilt receiving corps—Kris Hutson's jet-speed routes, Luke Wysong's sure-handed slots, and Tre Spivey's emerging red-zone flair—after Tetairoa McMillan's early NFL exit. Arizona's offense hums at 31.6 points per game, but it's the nation's stingiest secondary (16 passes defended, 153.1 yards allowed through the air) that could dictate tempo against a Colorado attack still searching for rhythm. "The break let us exhale and reload," coach Brent Brennan said. "Noah's seeing the field like a veteran, and our DBs are playing with swagger

"Colorado (3-5, 1-4) limps home licking wounds from a 53-7 evisceration at Utah, where the defense hemorrhaged 587 yards and quarterback Kaidon Salter managed just 37 passing yards before a pick-six capped the nightmare. Deion Sanders was blunt in the aftermath—"We've got to vet ourselves... find answers"—yet the dual-threat Salter (1,193 pass yards, 266 rush, 14 total TDs) remains a live wire, especially behind a Big 12-leading receiver group averaging 23.3 catches per game. Running backs Micah Welch and Dallan Hayden will probe Arizona's battered front (linebacker Keyan Burnett questionable, secondary depth thin), while tackles Anquin Barnes and Amari McNeil look to collapse pockets. Last year's 34-7 Buffs rout in this same stadium hangs in the air, but Sanders insists altitude and crowd noise flip the script: "Both teams are hungry... we play better at home." In a matchup dripping with revenge, redemption, and Rocky Mountain electricity, third-down stops and turnover margin will crown the survivor under the Saturday night lights.

Let's talk about the Wildcats Vs Buffalo!

Losing Brown hurts...but it's NOTHING compared to that crazy list for CU.  Nice advantage for the Cats!

Or DII player of the week, if you think he isn't a Power conference QB.

Congrats to Noah!
