Arizona is in the center for a reason.

Big target here let's hope arizona can keep him home, duke scares me in a any recruitment, we did beat them for koa last year.
I am going to assume this is an Arizona/Duke battle?
I know Sean Miller is no slouch to the recruiting game.
Could he be a good enough recruiter to steal a CA prospect from Arizona/Duke in his first season as coach?
I am not going to root for Texas per se, but I will be watching them as long as Miller is there to see if he could resurrect Texas they way he was about to do here at Arizona.

He did resurrect us.
Arizona was a dead school after Lute went "Lutey" at the end and got caught.
Miller came in, had a ton of success with non 5*'s because he is a Top 8 overall Coach's Coach X's and O's. Parlayed it into recruiting success, adding 5*'s to Cores. Then he got betrayed in the Execute Order 66.
Miller was the last Jedi of Arizona Basketball. Miller with Texas's money is a PROBLEM. Perhaps a Sith Lord in the making.
Tommy is a New Era around Arizona, but he has to prove he can recruit Top Tier American kids consistently in a world where Money Talks. The Wholesome Father of the Year thing would have been great if this were post Lute Olson, but even then we know money was always the driving force.
Blue Chips was released in 1994. (The Movie).
Fire Tom. Hire Nick Nolte.

He's an AZ prospect AFAIK. Maybe you're thinking of Christian Collins?
I'd rather not prioritize recruits who will not reach their potential until after their short college career. We've seen too many of those and their time at AZ has been forgettable.

There is no argument here, but I do know that they are not going to wait in Texas like they would at Xavier or Arizona.
They expect to win and win big.
Once that money begins to come in, they expect results.
I am still going to keep a close eye on Texas and see what Miller could do with them.

I was wrong.
You are right.
I thought this was the LA prospect, Christian Collins.
The other PF that is a concensus 5* and top 10 prospect in the country across recruiting sites.

Texas already fired Shaka Smart because the Longhorns played tough defense but couldn't score 75 PPG.
Let's hope that Miller can make a drastic change to his coaching strategy, before the past repeats itself.
Yea he is definitely thinking collins not even sure if arizona is recruiting collins anymore, he should be, but I think cam williams is more of a priority, i understand why he is in the state of az already, an is the top 4 player in the class for a reason.
Hope arizona can lsnd williams.
Used to be a time when the top recruits in Arizona went to the UA,period. CTL needs to make that happen again.

Peat, Stephen, Boswell, Anderson, etc.
Recruiting "locals" is almost impossible now, primarily because D-1 prospects jump around via prep schools, so their loyalty is non-existent.
Lloyd also had Jamari Phillips, prior to JP being intimidated by Love's return.
Koa Peat plus the #2 overall recruiting class is perfectly fine IMO. Especially considering the fact that we have four returning starters.

I think this season is Tommy's most important season. He has World Class players that are NBA Ready right now as I type this.
No excuses.
Absolutely. Although we can't expect immediate success. This is an extremely young team that needs to learn how to play together.
The veteran leadership will help and there are definitely no excuses when Spring rolls around. This roster is stacked.

No, there is expectations from Day 1. He has 4 lottery picks on this team.

I don't see anybody projected in the Top-14 (lottery). Yes, it's early...and the Cats will have multiple draftees.
Regardless, the high-end NBA prospects are 18 years old. If expectations are high within the first few months, then people are being unrealistic.

Can't take the list seriously.
Joseph Tugler of Houston is ranked below Sidi Gueye. LOL.
Agreed. These lists are strictly for clicks.
Tugler is a monster collegiate player but I don't see him starting in the league. He's strong, yet short. The kid plays tough, which doesn't serve a purpose in the NBA because they only want scorers. Not a 6'7" forward that can only hit from 12' and in.

6'7" Wings with 7'4" Wingspans. Always get into the NBA.
