For the first time in a long time I think that this list of All Ex Arizona players could actually be a playoff team if all put together.

Don't forget to throw in a championship caliber head coach...

I think it is a good roster.

I am not in agreement that this is a playoff roster.
We are all entitled to our own opinions though.
I am more interested in seeing which are the Arizona prospects came from.

This is only listing 13 players though!
Brandon Williams (DAL) is not on this list!

Miller (7)
Ayton
Gordon
Green
Markkanen
McConnell
Nnaji
Williams

Lloyd (7)
Bryant
Johnson
Koloko
Larsson
Love
Mathurin
Terry

To me, the interesting part is how quickly Lloyd was able to pick up recruiting and push it from there.
Koloko/Larsson/Mathurin/Terry were Miller holdovers.
Technically, I would apply them to Miller, but they stayed into the Lloyd era.
He was still able to add Johnson/Love as portal free agents, and Bryant as a domestic prospect.
It should be safe to say we could add at least two from this roster, and go as high as like 6-7.

There are only 4 guys on this list that are legit starting caliber players. There are 5 guys that left college too early. Not a playoff team. I love TJ but he is not a starter in the nba.

TJ is a Starter. He may not be 35-10-10 like SGA, but he can easily be a 14-10ast-2stl PG. Steve Blake was a PG for many years. Pritchard is Starting Caliber right now too. It is not always about stats. Especially for true PGs. Steady Handed Floor Generals are important.

Mamba Mathurin is a Superstar.
Aaron Gordon is a Superstar.
Lauri Markkenbeast is a Superstar.

Ayton doesn't enjoy Basketball at all and is still a Top 8 Center so that is a shame, but he is a Starter.

Zeke never gets to play, but he is a Starter on almost any team that doesn't have an All NBA 1st Team level Big.

I think Steve Kerr could lead this group to the playoffs and win a series. Mathurin is criminally underrated at the moment and so is Lauri.

Steve Blake was a shooter no? Pritchard is an offensive assassin. I love TJ but those two are/ were better offensively. And there is ZERO evidence to suggest that Nnaji would start on another team without Joker. That's laughable. Zeke left college Way too early and the result is getting buried on the bench for years. At this point he'll be lucky to earn a spot as a rotational player on an nba roster. Mathurin, Gordon and Markkanen are all star caliber. You need two more.

Edit- Ayton is a starter no doubt, but four doesn't make five.

He would never have gotten the contract if he wasn't as I advertise. One of the best kept secrets in the league.
