If Holt commits to Arizona he will not regret it. There will be nearly unlimited playing time available and he would be a Go To Guy. If the U19 showed me anything, it was that Holt belonged as a Starter if nothing else. Incredibly talented.

Arizona recruits after he is off the board, they stopped recruiting alozie.
Cam holmes is probably being recruited probably as a 3, will probably need another guard, maybe transfer, or international prospect.
Hopefully aristode is atleast a 2 year player.

Yea holt visiting Kentucky for big blue madness this weekend, that may be why he canceled his visit, also pearl retiring, may be the reason.
Either way, I will belive it when I see it, that he commits here, I think Tommy, has to do a better job of identifying these players earlier, both holt, junior county were offered late, an arizona started recruiting them late, too bad arizona stopped recruiting, alozie, i guess because he played poorly this summer, i do have confidence that Tommy Lloyd will figure out to putting a competitive team together
Just get 2 dependable freshman and a few transfers each year. Thats the formula as long as you can bring back at least 50% of your production from the previous year. The swings of going heavy on Euro's; then heavy on transfers; then heavy on freshman seems odd.

Pope sucks. Coach Cal was UK. So if Holt isn't going to Arkansas, then there is no point to this.
The big red wall of the SEC doesn't scare me.
Money is the only thing that matters at this type of level. UK may have more of it, but the system doesn't fit Holt at all.
Rupp is similar to McKale. Big, outdated and mostly full of older alumni that cheer when the team goes on runs.
Outside of luring a million one and dones under Calipari, Lexington is not special. Walking around Tucson's campus in the winter is a huge recruiting tool.

Key words and phrases are the older alumni that are highly fair weather and take all the good seats, not even showing up on time (my spin on it).
Nothing against the average age of those fans. They spend the money. But the school needs to push a portion back 4 rows and allow the students to take at least the first few rows of the visitor's bench at minimum to half court.. I am forever tired of the Band and Student Section stuffed into a tiny and mostly useless area of the arena.

They can still charge the same or even More for regular STH's if they wanted to and the same people will buy the same seats just a few rows higher up which is a better view anyway since a simple renovation can elevate them just slightly above a "Crazies" POV... unless our Fans are all 6'5" of course... but they aren't.
We are talking about 100 seats total. If anything, it creates a higher and more VIP Exclusive Donor level price to be behind Arizona's bench too.
Students also can end up incentivized.
Start the project with Seniors Only who purchased a Premium Football Season Ticket package for at least 4 Seasons would be eligible for that lottery for the new section. Any remaining openings going to Juniors or Extreme Daddy Frat Donors
Can take it further with Student to increase Lottery Odds if they purchase tickets to other Sports like Baseball or anything else that costs money to watch even if they don't attend. All of which can easily be tracked on a Blockchain, transparently and create a bit of a "Ranking" system in the open which everyone loves a good healthy competition where money is flowing into the Businesses of Student Athletics.

At least when I was there you weren't allowed to sniff a student ticket lottery for basketball season tickets unless you bought football tickets.
No difference concept.
Inflation is a bitch, but when it is combined with the ponzi of student loans, it is of no consequence to the evil empire. The students are dumb enough to buy the tickets in the first place. They will pay more for better, more exclusive seats.
The boosters will pay more and love to do so too.
This all aligns with "you will rent forever and love it" pax Stimulus.
No Arizona Student would dare get "Crazies Seats" and not show out. They would get exposed on social media so fast. Clout is life to that generation.

All I will say is that I believe Arizona should prioritize the West before expanding outward.
There is a part of me that is not as high on Holt as I am on some other 2027 prospects.
I have only seen highlight cut-ups on all of them, so take it with a grain of salt.

Tommy has no pipelines though. He defaults to International. This U19 thing he did was really one of a kind in terms of Generational Talents incoming. I am happy for Tommy to get the honor. One transfer
Three international recruits
Throw in our talented walk-ons and the Cats prove to have a nice balance. Most major schools are scrambling for transfers or "leftover" recruits while Lloyd's staff got exactly what they wanted, to build towards the future.

Yes, loyalty is dead, BUT all it takes is ONE prospect.
If Lloyd could one to come in, develop him, and send him off to the NBA, or even have him sign overseas?
I believe that will be a big feather in his cap.
I hear people like to mention Johnson/Larsson when they talk about Lloyd and his developmental abilities.
Ballo gets thrown in there too, but I do not believe those are big enough climbs for him to stamp himself.
He would need one those bigs that are from the Motherland to develop into a NBA pick.
There are several that have come to Arizona with the potential, but none that blown up enough to stamp Lloyd.
Krivas is the closest one, and this season might be most important for Lloyd in more ways than one.

Keshad was already a NBA talent before coming to UofA. He got passed over in the draft due to Agents having too much power. Miami loves to stack older undrafted picks, let them have 1 or 2 decent games and then say they are worth 3 1st rounders. Overall, Tommy should be focusing on Himothy aka Holt
