Good Luck & BEARDOWN!
30-20 Cats
35-10 cats
28-24 Cats win
WILDCATS 41
RAINBOWS 24
42-20 Cats
If the CATS are to win the game, they're going to have to score more points than the Warriors.

Hawaii: 45
Ariz: 3
Brennan receives new four year deal because team showed great camaraderie. And, after all, he won 7 games at San Jose State!!
31-17 Bloodbath Brennan wins
AZ 28
Hawaii 14
Arizona 34
Hawaii 13
I think the game sits around 10-10 or 14-10 / 13-10 for a bit and then we pin our ears back on defense, get their QB to rush some throws, generate 2 or 3 key turnovers and convert them into some Touchdowns, but Hawaii will play a stout enough Defense to hold our Offense down enough to make it a game going into the 3rd Quadrant of action before the backdoor pull-away
I agree. It could go two ways: 1) ugly, low scoring game because it's Arizona's opener (and the UH QB is injured); or B) Fifita comes out with fire and tears them apart.
I can't envision a big Hawaii win, despite our underachievements last season.
31-20 Arizona
Arizona 27
Hawaii 17

Eh, Hawaii drops the easiest TD possible.
Finger, on pulse. Nice to see we can make a FG and get some elementary turnovers.
I will take it. The team adhered to my theory tonight. They should continue to lean into this run game and keep zigging while their opponents are trying to zag. Kansas State barely beat North Dakota today. With just over 2 minutes left ND had a 99.9% chance to win. College Ball is back in full force.
I didn't see the mythical Turnover Tiki, but the
Turnover Sword skewered plenty of pigskins.

The sword ran out of room by the end.
Hawaii held our pass game down to basically Nothing. Brennan needs to focus on how to generate open WRs within the first ~8 yards of a route if Noah is going to stand a chance this year.
We should not feel below utilizing Screens and Pick Plays. Heavy on TE Chain Moving.
"Methodical Matriculation"
Maybe take some notes from Greg Roman and the RPO (Kaepernick, Tyrod Taylor, Lamar)
Fifita definitely missed a few throws...and was lucky when one wasn't picked.
I think Hawaii game-planned for a heavy Arizona passing attack because they assumed their D-Line could contain our rebuilt O-Line. Our coordinators proved that they're a huge improvement from last season because they made the conscious decision to run the ball and take the pressure of Fifita when he struggled early.
Opponents need to pick their poison because our offense can dominate in multiple ways (assuming we give Noah enough time to throw). I was impressed by coaching...something we couldn't say throughout the entire 2024 season.

Run the ball until they prove they can consistently stop it.
Never abandon a run game unless down 4 TD or more at Halftime and even then, come out slinging, but use some shotgun Draws mixed in with Up Tempo.
Defense always needs to hunt turnovers. We are never going to win a battle of Hat on Hat football on that side of the ball. We have to punch above our weight. Play 2 deep safeties most of the time and take some risks to jump some routes and blitz.
Keep the ball in front of us. Wrap up tackles. Accept some "bend, but don't break" situations.
