Title: TJ McConnell...
Post by: arxpert on July 02, 2025, 05:38:55 PM
I think the Pacers are a little ambitious to not bolster up at PG.

They lost Myles Turner to a chief Rival in the Bucks. They watched Tyus and Tre Jones sign deals.

Perhaps Cole Anthony may become available, but I don't see him as a true PG.

Not sure why Indy didn't go into the Apron to keep their momentum going.

Mamba Mathurin will need to take a very big step forward next year and become that Kobe-esque scorer working with the starting unit in tandem with Siakam.

Haliburton has almost no chance to come back next year given it was literally Game 7 of the Finals when the Achilles finally snapped. It sucks that it happened.

It should have happened 2 months from now in a Pan Am tune up exhibition and Haliburton would have been out for season, but a NBA Champion.

It makes me want to vomit the amount of luck and help it took for OKC to get over the top. That Game 4 ruined the entire series and I condemn the NBA for doing it knowing Haliburton was hurt in this manner. They should have called a fair game, Indy would have won and gone up 3-1, then polished the Thunder off in 6 at Home.

The NBA secured their Disney bullshit as always. No league is as rigged as the NBA with NFL a very close 2nd.

TJ McConnell is going to have to be the starting PG next year.

Without being held to a Role Player status, I am curious to see if he may have a Break Out Season. Jalen Brunson was a backup in Dallas until he moved to the Knicks...

Can TJ break out?

I am talking something like 15ppg 10ast 5reb 2stl per game season averages... That would be phenomenal and put Indy into a position where they will be in the Final 4 of the East and see where things go at that point IMHO.

Without PG play, I am not certain Indy is going to make the 2nd round.
