I really thought that the Pacers were going to sign him (and Tyus Jones).
I understand why Ayton would do this. He can't really fail if Lebron is there. He also can't fail with Luka's passing ability. In 2 Years he will be a 9 Year Veteran I believe (crazy to think time is flying by)...
Ayton is not a bust. He should be able to play at least 10 to 15 seasons. He has proven to be reliable. I think if you need "16 and 10" he is as good of a bet as it gets. I am interested in seeing if he can grow his game playing with Lebron and how that helps him in the future Pax-Lebronnica.
I also was hoping Ayton would be a player of interest for the Wizards. They need someone to play beside Alex Sarr who is basically the next Bam/Jaren Jackson, but an actual 7 Footer. Plays similarly to Wemby, but is 6 inches shorter.
