Title: TBT 2025
Post by: arxpert on June 18, 2025, 05:27:03 PM
Former Arizona Wildcat Participants in TBT 2025 (12th Year of the Dog Days of Summer Annual Big Dance)

Gabe York
Terrell Brown
Blake Bommarito

York + Brown playing together on Eberlein Drive https://tbthoops.com/teams/eberlein-drive/
Blake Bommarito created DaGuys STL team using his Business skills acquired at UofA and much to the KC Cat's dismay he has recruited Wes Clark, a former Buffalo Bull and 1x TBT Champion, that knocked out the team that effectively created NIL.

Not my fault if you don't follow UofA Basketball enough to know about The Bommar

Don't proliferate hate.

More Updates will come as information comes.

It is actually the only ending that makes sense to any basketball game. I would open it up to 24 points instead of 8 for the NBA. You would all be crestfallen to see your team lose a game they were up by 10 letting their foots off the gas, playing poor quality basketball through the 4th quarter after being up by 20+ only to see a team surge back and outscore their opponent 34-23 over the Elam Ending. Don't think THAT can't happen in the Pro's easily.

This is about quality of the game and integrity of the sport at the end of the day. You don't win a game in the 3rd Quarter, unless you are OVERPAID to a NONSENSICAL degree where you DON'T CARE.

If you aren't a Pro, it is FANS FIRST AND ALWAYS or that makes anyone a Bootlicker.

Rawle Alkins hits an Elam Ender to send the #7 seeded LA Ignite past #2 Team Diesel.

Gabe York Advanced with Eberlein Drive to the Round of 32 as well.

DaGuysSTL had a great showing, but lost in a tie game going into the Elam vs the upstart Sheffield Sharks of the UK.

Almost every game in the Round of 64 had a compelling Elam. Maybe 3 or 4 wins going away. The rest were highly entertaining.

The level is getting higher every year!

A couple of the games saw some huge Elam comebacks. One was an 18pt deficit.

The level is high. The refs are not calling fouls every possession. Forcing teams to earn their buckets. Nothing too egregious. Respectable ball all around for the first round. I expect the 2nd round which started today to get called tighter.

There were probably as many "wow" comebacks as there were 10+ pt victories going away with 90% of the games being close in the Elam.

I think College needs to move to the Elam personally. 8pts may not be enough for the level of play in College or the NBA (For Overtime regular season), but I think 23pts would be reasonable for the NBA in Overtime makes sense given the amount of knockdown shooting.

College should probably add 15pts to the score at the end of a game and force teams to finish it the right way, not drain clocks and play the foul game. Especially College level would show true Coaching and Systems shining through with some herculean individual performances.

I get the push back, but far too often do teams simply lose games in a slow start or fall flat down the stretch and barely survive off of the prior body of work or a cheap foul call. (Anyone remember BYU last year??????)....

This is Sports and Entertainment now that players are paid so heavily and it is 100% safe to assume everyone is gambling on their player props at minimum these days.

I think the time will come in the next 5 seasons or so and/or is only a matter of time.

The only way to truly defeat your opponent definitively is to sink a bucket.

Elam Ending.

NBA will make it the Jordan Ending.

Rawle Alkins team blew a hefty lead in the Elam back in the round of 16.

Gabe York dances on to the Last Four along with Terrell Brown for Eberlein Drive.

York, a team leader, sinks the Elam Ender. Rolls his ankle in both of the last 2 games on shots where players are not letting him land cleanly.

TBT is not about refs, it is about Basketball. Toughness is a factor. York is showing true grit.

Also there was a 38 minute Elam Ending where a team was down 20pts going into it, 66-86, target score was 94.

Before the Elam was set, the 7 Seed Fail Harder went on a small run to get the lead down to 20. Fail Harder fought back to take the lead at 93-92, but the team who had the big lead pulled through to win it after tying it up at 93-93 with an Elam Ender, 93-95.

It was herculean, but it proves that the Elam creates something unique and special. It is only a matter of time before adoption. Ending a game of basketball on a made shot is the way the game should be played.

It has always been how the game was played if you think about it whether you play 21 or organized ball. "That's Game" is a motto and it always has to do with making a shot, not a timer.

Gabe York and the ALMIGHTY Arizona Transfer Legend Terrell Brown are dancing to the Championship Game.

Gabe York hits ALL 8 out of the 8 Elam Ender points in a team leading role and 2nd straight Elam Ender.

Eberlein Drive will play for the 1 Million Dollars in the Championship Game!

The Stage is now SET!

Eberlein Drive vs Aftershocks (Wichita St) for $1 Million Winner Take All

We will be witnessing a subtle REMATCH of the game when SEAN MILLER Sweat Through his entire suit in the ole 6 vs 11 seeded 50/50 coin flip March Madness Matchup

It will be Gabe York vs Markis McDuffie and Connor "Bird Beak" Francamp.

Fun Fact:
Gabe York, McDuffie, and Francamp all scored 10pts in that game.

In retrospect, the best player on that floor was Fred VanVleet and it doesn't feel like much of a failure when you actually analyze the game and Arizona's Roster was not very good that season, but Miller was still able to coach it to 25 wins.

Will Gabe York get the Ultimate Revenge and take down the Grand Prize?

York is not Kyle Fogg.

Credit to the Aftershocks. Eberlein made 5 or 6 huge pushes, got within 4 or 5 points over and over, but the power of Wichita was not to be denied and never fully let go of the rope at any point.

York had a tough game. The focus was 100% on him defensively. They did all they could with what they had available. Every team had difficulty with the Aftershocks defensive strategies.

And just like that, another ALUMNI driven team Wins TBT. There is no excuse for there not to be the Zona Zoo. 3 former Cats played in this dance, they all played well too. There are more former Cats doing nothing for 2 and a half weeks after Summer League.

It is time to form a team.

How's Josiah doing nowadays? If he's in a better place, maybe he'd be interested.
