Here's a little bit of info I came away with on some of the players today at Lloyd's basketball camp
Burries is always smiling and is down to earth. My son pretended to interview him and asked what school he would have chosen besides Arizona. His answer was that there was no other school because it was always Arizona.
Bradley now has short cornrow braids, so he looks a little different. He helps with the Tommy Lloyd camp every year and interacts with a lot the kids. He also made an over half court shot first try.
Aristode had a free-throws with the kids and looked like he was missing most on purpose so they could win. He also looked like he's pretty much healed up from his injury the way he was moving around the court.
Krivas took pictures with anyone who asked as he was walking outside around RJ Gym. He's really is a giant in person and just towers over everyone. Can't wait to see back on the court.
Last, Liam Lloyd was pretty much running the majority of camp on day 1. He works well with the kids and is definitely going to be a great coach one day.
Nice observations on the personalities of some of the players, thanks for sharing.
Nice info, thanks wild.
Can't wait for basketball in November.
Thanks for filling us in Wild, much appreciated!!
Day 2 of Arizona basketball camp update
My son got some one on one coaching with Liam Lloyd. Liam later face timed Carter Bryant who took time to talk to him and his friends. So cool!!

Jaden Bradley spotted my son wearing his custom Bradley jersey and high fived him. He spotted my son again later in the McKale stands (where the kids eat lunch) and he threw the ball to him from the court.

I'm hoping to have updates for day 3 and especially day 4 where they'll have a Tournament with a championship. They'll then have a ceremony and autograph signings with players and coaches.
Day 3 of UofA basketball camp update
The kids got to watch Coach Lloyd lead the UofA players in practice while they ate Papa Johns. The players were all dunking and shooting 3's.
At one point Evan Nelson made 20 3 pointers in a row during the 1 hour practice.
Bryce James was there, but he wasn't practicing and was in street clothes. His wrist was wrapped, so that may be why he wasn't participating. The kids all's started singing "you are my sunshine" when Bryce was spotted walking onto the court.(Evidently it's a LeBron thing with the song) Pretty cool that Bryce was there since I don't think it's known he's in Tucson.
Tomorrow is the 4th and final day of camp with a championship tournament, ceremony, and autograph session. My son's team is undefeated so far. Hopefully they can win it.
Awesome share(s). Thanks Wild
Day 4, The Final day of UofA basketball camp.
As I arrived my son immediacy spotted Bryce James who walking through the Cherry garage. He hopped into the passenger seat of a very nice luxury vehicle with Cali plates. It took off just in time for me to take the parking spot. Sadly, he wasn't back on time for the autograph session later.
Ran into Koa Peat, Tobe Awaka (he looked absolutely jacked in person), and Evan Nelson before the last day of camp started. They were standing just inside the entrance of RJ's Gym. They along with all the players made it a point to talk to most of the kids throughout the week. By the last day the UofA players were saying wussup to my son and he got high fives from almost every single one at the camp. Lucky!!
We went to lunch and when we arrived back at McKale we noticed Women's coach Becky Burke standing inside the Cherry garage with bright red high heals on waiting for someone, possibly a recruit.
Arizona Gumby Addison Arnold does one on one basketball training with kids which was being promoted at the end of camp.
Krivas's arms look noticeably bigger and he's going to be a force down low.
My son and his team ended up winning the championship in his age division. He was able to get 8 players to sign his UofA basketball.

Overall the UofA basketball camp was one of the best experiences ever for my son and all the kids involved. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a boy who plays basketball. I can't lie, I may have had the best time of all with my son'a team winning the championship. I loved every second of it.
Oh and as we were leaving we spotted Noah Fifita decked out in a white suit standing near the Arizona football stadium on Cherry Ave. I rolled my window down and yelled "Good Luck Noah" and he yelled back, "Thanks!". As I drove away I thought to myself Why didn't I just yell BearDown. LOL
That sounds like an A+ experience that met the mark. Those autographs and interactions can mean the world to a youngster.
I am positively happy that you shared this experience with us.
However, do they know who you are? You are WILD "FREAKIN" ROLLINS around here. A Visionary. A Revolutionary.
Your "beardown" miss to Noah reminded me of the quote, "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take"
Should have worn a Beardownu.com shirt all week front and back and made like 10-15 extra shirts to give out to other parents/staff or even the players in exchange just for fun. You never know if they will rock one casually. Small vistaprint type investment.

Confirms Bryce James has been in Tucson and he has a wrist injury as I mentioned about above.
