North Carolina is trying to make a late push to get Cam Johnson. Cam Johnson and his father are trying to keep all of their options open. They are worried that Kentucky's Diallo and Arizona's Alkins will both elect to come back to school as he wants to go where there's a lot of playing time. "Now Coach (Roy) Williams is trying to see if we can get Pitt to release the one-year sit-out on my release," Johnson explained on 5/19/17. "The most important thing now is getting it so I can play right away. I'm still leaning towards Arizona being the pick, but if Alkins returns to school, then Kentucky goes back into the lead" See PITTS statement below. UofA will either end up with Alkins or Johnson. Only 3 more days till we find out🤞🐻👇

Do we still have a chance to get Johnson now that we know Alkins is coming back?
National press seems to think North Carolina if Pitt can be shamed into reversing their policy of not releasing to another ACC school. Kentucky still a factor also so we seem to be on the outside looking in. Maybe Miller will shed more light on this in today's news conference.
