Turns out the streets were wrong about him staying. Good Luck Carter!

Good luck to carter, seems like a great kid.
On the other hand, disappointed for arizona that he won't play his sophomore year, I think he showed flashes of his talent at arizona, never was consistent, I think he would have improved alot at arizona in year 2 probably would have doubled his points a game from his 1st year.
It sounds now like he may be a lottery pick, an if so no one is passing that up, good luck carter, my hope is he becomes a star in the league.
WILD be like

Bummer because I think he could use another year to improve a few aspects of his game but Carter obviously received well-deserved feedback and should be a lottery pick. Can't blame the kid for jumping.
Best of luck to him on draft night!
I was told by myself that Carter had zero interest in an NBA career and planned to play a full 4 years at Arizona before joining Tom's coaching staff after graduation. Nothing about that scoop struck me as unrealistic, so I bought it. Now I'm sitting here with my thumb in my ass looking like an idiot. Par for the course, though, to be fair. Bear Down BDU.
Better days ahead. Onward & Up.
This is basically a product of the Suns crapping out, where their #10 pick went to Houston, Spurs landing #2 and #14 and OKC lurking. There are options to join good teams and never have to play.
Zeke Nnaji theory. Just hang around the NBA and be paid to do nothing.
He is probably stoked he won't slide to the Wizards at #18 anymore. I bet that was a huge factor.
I think Carter was the best player on Arizona last year. No one listened of course, but in the end I will root for him to grow up fast and contribute like a Nickiel Alexander Walker... he isn't tall like Jaden McDaniels, but he has some length to 3+D.
Not sure exactly who will take him, but I would laugh if he ends up on a bad team and still is stuck on the bench.
Seems a bit Cocky at the moment. Promises from teams sometimes don't pan out. Sometimes these players are puppets and get traded on draft night multiple times even. Lol.

Why would you laugh if he gets stuck on the bench on a bad team ?

Answer: He is Arxpert.

Because he is an Elite player and he didn't get to show his talent at Arizona and then he wouldn't be able to crack a starting 5 on a bad team in the NBA too? That's comedically tragic.
If you think I am laughing about his "wealth" then you're wrong. The money is cool, but it is better to be like Mathurin and actually Play so when it is time to get a 2nd contract, you get say 100 Million instead of 30-50 million.
If anything, I would say the pay difference about to happen for Mathurin vs Zeke vs Dalen Terry vs Koloko is no laughing matter at all (thinking recent Arizona draftees)
