Turns out he's not 6'8 and instead is 6'6. This could cause him to fall to the late 2nd round. He really should come back to ensure he's top 10.
I was just talking to my brother about this.
He said he was 5'11 his senior year in HS.
He signed with Fresno State back in the early 2000s.
He said they did not know he was 5'11 until he signed and showed up on campus.
They had me listed at 6'5 during my senior year.
I was every bit of 6'2, maybe 6'3 with the right shoes on, but nowhere close to 6'5.
The point of our discussion was that coaches need to stop lying on the height/weight measurements of their prospects.

Not Tall Enough to be a SF. Definitely not big enough either.
He will have to be competing with the likes of SGA if he wants a chance to make a name in the NBA...
They should just list Koa Peat at 7'0"
and see if anyone says anything.
With a 7' wingspan and some of the biggest hops on the planet, Bryant could definitely play the SF position at the next level. His footwork is also solid enough to back down tall opponents in the paint.
Everybody's height is exaggerated in college. PJC is still listed at 5'11' on the Arizona website. Totally love the guy...but c'mon.
Carter could have ended up 6'9 barefoot after another offseason with Chris Rounds. Oh well.

I agree. It is almost entirely about Wingspan and Release Point at the NBA level for Offense and Defense unless you are a PG / elite passer. Then height matters for court vision.
