"E-Man leaving is a good sign that both

As the creator of the "E-MAN" I am
CRESTFALLENTommy better make this right or I would put him on the Hot Seat. He needs to be built for the BUSINESS side of this and he can't just hire a "GM" and ignore it.
I swear if Sean Miller apes into KJ Lewis and Henri... maybe Stephen... Some people will need to eat some crow.
Stephen has another year before he's ready to contribute for a D-1 program.
If Arizona lands Budinga, we'll forget all about these transfers.

That's a pretty big IF right there.
Now none of this makes sense.
Veesaar is gone, and now Stephen is gone?
So now this means that Krivas is C1, and Awaka is going to be C2.
Bryant is going to spend time as PF2 at this point until Lloyd is able to get another PF in here.
So there are now three scholarships open to fill for 2025-26.

Koa Peat is the PF...
The fear now is Carter staying and not declaring for the draft.
Carter + Peat is going to be Big Problems for opponents to defend if they are the 3 and 4... Even if Krivas and Awaka play the 5... We can play "big" or "small". Depends a lot on Carter staying and if we can land Burries. It is almost mission critical now for Burries.

You are operating under the assumption that Lloyd is going to play Peat exclusively at PF.
Lloyd has not done that with a single big that I could think of.
Even last season, there were times where Krivas/Veesaar would be on the floor at the same time.
It would not shock me to see Peat at SF at some point next season.
I am not sure how this lineup is going to look now with so many bodies walking out the door.
This would be my starting five if the season started tomorrow, and I would NOT be confident in it.
Lloyd has a lot of work that he needs to do this off-season.
G: Bradley
G: Dell'Orso
F: Bryant
F: Peat
C: Krivas

He must have read the tea leaves and saw little PT
Despite not seeing the floor, Stephen always had a wonderful attitude on the bench and in the locker room. Seems like a genuine guy that should be able to develop elsewhere.
Would have loved to see stephen get minutes here, unfortunately he was the 3rd or 4th center on the team.
Now we krivas an Tobe as our centers
We will see if Tobe sticks around.
I find the narrative about E-Man demanding they burn his redshirt just to barely play pretty hard to believe. And, if true, it's an even worse look for Tom to say OK and allow it. If he already knows he's not going to play him, all he has to do is say NO and that's the end of the conversation. It's not like he's threatening to torch Tom's house and checking himself into the game on his own.
The end result: zero meaningful game experience and a lost year of eligibility for a guy who will likely need every year of eligibility he can get.
Who was the last talented player to stick around for four years and graduate? Unfortunately, there's no chance that somebody will willingly redshirt and stay in Tucson for five total seasons.
Burning a redshirt doesn't affect Lloyd and if Stephen knew he was transferring, shame on him for jumping into the OK State game.
He'll likely play 3-4 more years (including grad transfer) at 2 more schools. Lloyd bulked him up and gave him quality practices against future pro bigs.

Who would be the starting SG on this roster right now?
At the time I posted that, Burries had not committed.
I was going off of who was on the roster at time of posting.

Either EMAN is actually stupid and had no business being about to qualify academically, or Tommy got salty about it and hoodwinked him into going into the Akron Game which I've said before will have negative ramfications.
No one Tommy is after will plan to be here for 4 years anyway.
And also PS: to answer something above ---> Awaka is NOT a Center. He is an uncoordinated 4 who can play hard as long as the refs don't blow the whistle. Something I thought was pretty insane in the Oregon Game given Henri was slapped with fouls the whole game and Awaka was MUGGING everyone with no calls. Awaka looked like a guy who belonged on Houston beating up on everyone there.

What does playing in the Akron game have to do with it? The redshirt was already burned the first time he played vs Samford.

He could have used Medical Hardship for the intense mental health damage Tommy inflicted upon him. This is 2025. The appearances have to have been in the first half of the season though. So Tommy the Tormentor (Tournamentor) killed all chances when he forced EMAN to remove that shirt for Akron.

Nice landing spot for the EMAN. I hope UNLV's check actually clears. I remember their Football team really suffered for stiffing their QB.
