Prime example of what happens when you miss the National Championship winning shot.

Big Extensions. Complacency. Never Get Back.

Hence why I put no stock in making the Final Four unless there is intention to Win the whole damn enchilada.

There is no glory in making it 1 game further than the EE for me as a fan.

The fanfare and national attention of a Final Four is huge.  No fan or recruit remembers a team that lost in the Elite Eight.  Adia landed high-end recruits because she proved that she has the ability to go deep into the tourney, however that allure is fading and the players are transferring out as a result.

Hopefully it's a short-term issue.

Is everybody in the Portal because Adia is leaving or because they want to get away from Adia?

I think it's a combination of everything. She's a tough coach and not every high end player can take the criticism.

Others are frustrated with their teammates' efforts/attitudes and I'm sure somebody fears that Adia could bail.

Regardless, it isn't the fanbase. Arizona showed up to home games in the masses and that's still a huge recruiting advantage.
