Nice brief preview by the Zips writer. Akron relies heavily on the three and Arizona allows shooters to free-up with high screens. Getting hit from the perimeter is their only hope because Veesaar and Awaka will have big days on the interior...and likely won't allow the other UA to get easy buckets in the paint.

Sounds like you just described Buffalo to me, although Oregon will be facing their opponent in that time slot with probably a nice home field advantage. I wonder if they will do that zoomed out and tilted camera angle they did in Idaho or wherever that game was played.
And on the note of Henri and Awaka, I am sure that Akron has studied every one of our losses and noticed that it is a great strategy to force those guys to have to make 2 shots to earn 2 points on a Neutral Court in Primetime. Limit our possessions and they will take their chances living and dying by the 3 which yes we are susceptible to - and we never do the high screen 3 ourselves.
Yup. We've been successful against smaller teams. We scored plenty against assu, who was extremely hot from beyond the arc (and still couldn't beat us).
