Not a bad loss in the bunch.
Be that as it may, those are the types of Teams we are supposed to have to go through in March Madness. So if we want to just acknowledge we can hang with anyone, that's one thing, but some of those games we didn't "hang with them". We got beat up badly.
1-3 in the last 4 is it? We aren't going to lose our way into a 3 or 4 seed.
My focus is on the next 4 games, then I am resetting my opinion.
AZ doesn't have a #9 NET for nothing.
A majority of fans wrote off Arizona's postseason before the conference games even began.
Being a 3-4 seed is helpful but it's nice to see the team moving in the right direction as the season progressed, especially without Krivas, who was projected to be our top draft pick.
We're definitely going to lose a minimum of 2 more games this season but after starting 4-5, we're playing with house-money and have an opportunity to avenge some of those early OOC losses.

I wrote them off because of Slo-Mo Krivas. Tommy is too attached. This isn't the same 4-5 team. So my opinion is able to change since Tommy has made forced changes. These are obvious in hindsight, but I am not a fan of Slo-Mo in the Up Tempo system. Tommy needs to learn how to construct a roster. We wouldn't have been 4-5 if he played the rotations correctly from the start.
We don't have a big man that can stop an opponent in the paint until Veesaar started conference play. He's still a foul liability but Krivas' footwork on defense played a big role in Lloyd's rotation.
