Carter was pumping up every player below the bleachers, prior to the OSU game. He was putting his arms around teammates in the hotel and had a smile on his face throughout warmups.
The kid is embracing the college basketball experience and his hard work is resulting in improved minutes AND play. Can't wait to see him in March.
Yes he is special and I for one would like to see him stay another year, but with his stock rising and him playing better, it will be hard to keep him.
He reminds me so much of Sean Elliott. His game is getting smoother and smoother.
Nice to see a freshman with such poise and a positive attitude. He was scored on and called for a foul that could have gone the other way, and he just smiled and kept playing hard. Looks like he has a nice recipe with Arizona. He doesn't have to be "the man" but has opportunity for a good amount of minutes, on a big stage with great competition. He would do really well next year and have a big name in college basketball, but yeah, good chance the 1st round will be calling and most likely, he gone!
He is crazy athletic. The block/ goaltend he had was as high as I have seen a player jump.
