Title: A.J. Dybantsa
Post by: arxpert on December 10, 2024, 01:15:33 PM
A little bit shocked to see this when you see the size of the jewelry chain this kid has on, but the pockets of BYU run very deep though I can't remember any time that BYU purchased a basketball player like this. I see the decision has a lot to do with a coach, but it looks more like money talks. We have money. I don't see why our money is no good to any of these guys. Tommy seems to be in the way.

We have almost unlimited resources for Basketball specifically. Football, well - I personally know that Brennan can be bought out today and the groups of Alum wouldn't even feel it. It would be like a simple or basic charitable donation write off at that point. Buying a full roster that can contend for National Championships every year? Not as sure. Ohio State's roster cost them just over $20 Million on the record - this doesn't account for all that isn't known. $20 Million is not that much when we are talking about over or around 100 players.

It's reassuring to know that the high rollers
are so confident in Coach Brennan.

Until someone who is actually a really football coach is interested.

How much did you donate to the athletic department this year?

That is an unreasonable question to expect a response. I don't exceed reality though if that helps at all.

I'm seeing that A.J. was paid at least $5 Million for this commitment. I think it's insane money, but it's also probably smart for him because there will be far less distractions at BYU although he may mop up on the campus sinners.

However, if he can't dominate at BYU at least Statistically, then I think it could hurt his stock. BYU may not win a ton of games, but he should at least get his numbers. It's an interesting chess move. I wonder what Tommy will do to respond.
