Brent Brennan has the full support of the Arizona AD & president & he will be back coaching the Arizona Wildcats next season.

UofA can't fire Brennan with his 10M buyout, optics, & more. We gave you the scoop on this a few weeks back ⤵️

YES!!!
I sincerely hope you're wrong.
Hopefully they can hire a new offensive coordinator
Maybe you are lagging behind, but 10 Million is nothing in this Bull Run popping off. A kid just aped into a piece of "art" for 6.2 Million dollars of a Banana duct taped to the wall and he ate the Banana, destroying the art. So Brennan's 10 million buy out is Nothing.
Optics? I think it would look like we have a real backbone to dump a guy who has no future in this era of football at this level of competition. It would only show COMPETENCY to mutually part ways Now.
death sentence
If next season even slightly resembles 2024, I'm pretty sure he won't make it through the entire schedule.
Hopefully he can flip things around but it's hard to be optimistic about this staff.
I wonder what his buyout drops down to if he's fired after next season. In the neighborhood of $7-$8 million?
Will we be bad enough for other teams to schedule us as their non conference "pay-to-play" games? Maybe that can help raise the funds needed for the buyout!
He seems like the type of guy that would peacefully quit if we replicate similar results in 2025. Perhaps I'm wrong...and hopefully we don't have this conversation by the end of next year!
I still have hopes for him. There were some decisions early in the season that I didn't like, primarily going for it on 4th down. Even those could've been successful with a competitive O-line. It is worrisome that he didn't realize that deficiency. I stiil feel that there were 2 major problems this year and neither were Brennan's fault. The under manned O-line and the injuries on defense. He was hired too late to adequately replenish the line, and we were winning games until the most important parts of the defense got hurt. This seasons results lie at the fins of the fish, I'm just glad he sucked this year too.
Yeah, losing Raymond Pulido (in addition to Croskey-Merritt/Speedy Luke) at the last minute absolutely hurt this offense.
With a legitimate left tackle and competent running back, Arizona would have looked completely different.
Regardless, we still had a deep roster at every other position, which severely underperformed.
