I personally don't believe we are, but I hope I'm wrong

A lot will depend on injuries and the way the ball bounces but this team should be able to stumble it's way to 6 wins.
The bigger problem is the coaching imo.
Akina is not a DC imo and Brennan is not the kind of promoter and showman it takes to compete in the NIL landscape of today. Dillingham at ASU is the model unfortunately.

Once the majority of T-Mac class moves on this program will struggle to be .500 for another decade.

I can't envision a situation where this team goes 3-7 throughout the remainder of the season.  We play TTU (who snuck by Abilene and was slaughtered by Wazzu), Houston (who was slaughtered by UNLV) and assu (who is getting better at blowing important games).  We're still favored in 5 of those matchups and the NAU game is not indicative of our offense.

Brennan will not have any issues with the offense after the Servite crew graduates.  He recruits the hell out of offensive talent.  As long as Akina runs the show on D, the program will continue to flourish because they play hard for him and the rest of our staff.

This is primarily the same Tulane squad that was ranked throughout a majority of 2023 (and defeated K-State in 2022).  The Purple Cats should be contenders in the Big-12.

The unknowns are UCF and TCU. Both have tremendous upside and could surprise people.

Skipping KU and OSU on the schedule is huge this season. We have a decent path to the conference title game if everybody stays healthy (to reiterate ARX's sentiments).

What can you envision now?

We don't have a competent LT to protect Noah and we don't have a RB (besides Reescano) that has vision. On top of that, our defense is depleted and already underwhelming in the front seven.

Still, the remainder of our schedule isn't brutal. Houston is an easy win and the other four are bi-polar.

If we get a few more healthy bodies, I still think we go bowling.

I can't see it.  Our defense is porous and the offense is just weak.  Noah has been going full speed in reverse all season

I think we get to 6 wins, which is a failure in it's own right.

Start to think the bigger questions is will we win another game this year....    The run D was terrible

Agreed. I know we have a lot of injuries but stopping the run has been our specialty this season and WVU found creative ways to gash us for big yards.

Three TD's on 4th downs?  They played us like a video game. The risk paid off in their favor...

I am not a Noah apologist. If I am recruiting from a bigger school with deeper pockets, I would be cautious in bringing in Noah. For example, if Jedd wants to bring Noah up to Washington... he may have to think twice. I can't see Noah doing well in the Big Ten at all. He has gone backwards at a faster rate than almost any notable QB in Zona Zoo history. I'm not talking about the Gunnell's, Anu's, Tate's. I'm talking about someone who was attempting to prove he was something of a Drew Brees sized Tua.

I don't think he should leave at all. Certainly not for a higher level of competition, but he could probably go to down 1 level and probably make more of an impact.

My comments stand. Noah probably won't make an impact at any other level than this. He could go to San Jose St and probably make some noise, but I would only ask 1 thing that he takes Brennan with him. Terrible. This has to be the greatest failure in recent CFB history to have so much talent and momentum last year absolutely destroyed and unrealized this year in the first ever time that there is expansion of the CFP we are witnessing ASU and Colorado duking it out with BYU for a chance to represent the Big12.

This surely can only happen and exist in... The Twilight Zone.

Voting is locked, Arizona is not bowling this year.
