This is one spot where people have under valued us. We have a solid OL with what is a young and unexperienced, but talented line.

Projected starters: Josh Baker (Jr.), Jonah Savaiinaea (Jr.), Leif Magnuson (R-Jr.), Wendell Moe (R-Soph.), Raymond Pulido (Soph.)

This was the group who lead us to victory in the 4th qtr against a very good Oklahoma team last year.
Some people question Pulido's ability to stay healthy. I do not focus on that. It only takes one play or accident to take a player off the field. Depth will be critical!

Wendell is a monster at LG. Josh is a solid leader in the middle. Lief will be solid between Josh and Jonah. The big question is LT? I think Raymond will be improved this year and the healthy thing should extend to every player.

This is one of the top starting units in the country in my book.

Top backups: JT Hand (R-Jr.), Grayson Stovall (R-Soph.), Shancco Matautia (R-Soph.), Alexander Doost (R-Fr.), Rhino Tapa'atoutai (R-Fr.) Projected!

Not my projected!

JT has been here a while. Will he finally see the field in the rotation and what has been the issue keeping him off the field?
Grayson is a great kid and will be a solid replacement at C next year. I see his rotation being critical to our depth this year and him as anchor in the middle next season.
Rhino is a great prospect. This is his second year in the program. Does he make That jump?
Shancco is huge and has game experience at a slightly different level, but came from a solid HS program prior. IF he settles in here he could bloom!
Alexander has that potential to be a big part of what we are wanting to become. Can he step up?

I will add Jonah Rodriguez and Michael Wooten to this group. Those two guys are equal in potential to me as transfers.

I will also add Ryan as a known player coming with the staff from SJSU. He has good experience and SJSU had a solid run game behind him. Some mention Conley as a starter at RB? I think you have to include that in the mention of Ryan as a potential rotation guy.
Elijah Payne is another guy that came in last year and just wasn't what the staff thought they were getting. Will the new staff be able to get him where he wants to be?
Zarius Wells is a WO guy but has had a great Spring under the new staff. Great heart and work ethic. Watch for him to work his way into the picture at some point in the future.
Tylen Gonzalez is a solid player. Will he be B12 ready? At some point I think he will, but it may be on the DL? Great size and ability at a smaller HS does not always add up in D1 FB.

Wendell is also being mentioned on the NFL draft board for the following year.
First round this last draft.
First round this coming draft.
Hopefully Baker can be a draft ready guy as well this next draft.
Then Wendell could figure into the draft as well the following year.
I think a healthy Raymond Pulido could also get there as well in a year or two.

The fact that we are even mentioning the draft for our OL guys is huge for our progress.
