Washington Almost Blew Last Game
Washington in the last game almost blew their lead against Arizona State. At halftime, Washington was up 45-24 and it looked like they were going to cruise to the victory. In the second half though the defense gave 51 points and they ended up winning by only two in overtime. Washington is averaging 81 points while their defense is giving up 76.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 32nd but in this game they can't have the defnese perform like they did against Arizona State. Keion Brooks Jr is averaging 21.2 points while shooting 49.7 percent from the field.
Arizona Needs This WIn
Arizona wants the one seed and they can't lose two games in a row if they want that to happen. Arizona scored 74 points against Washington State and they ended up losing by three points. Caleb Love had a strong game putting up 27 points but he also had a couple of late turnovers that really hurt them. Arizona is averaging 90 points while their defense is giving up 73.1 points per game. In this game, Arizona needs the defense to step up and really put the pressure on Washington. Arizona will face Oregon after this game.

Washington is going to be competitive in this game. Washington might have almost blew the last game, but don't let that fool you, this is a strong offensive team. Washington is averaging 81 points and they are going to find offensive success here. Washington is still going to give up plenty of points here, but they are going to make enough stops late to keep it close. Back Washington against the spread. This is a game that Washington could win outright.

I won't be shocked if Boswell is benched the rest of the season. He is so disrespectful. Tommy laid into him big time and Boswell just turns his cheek won't even look Tommy in the eye. Boswell gets pick pocketed. Boswell trots down the court. Boswell allows multiple 3s.
There is something terribly wrong going on. I don't care who opposes me. I am right on this one.
Just witnessed the first real Inside Out of the season IMHO. Bradley to Krivas deep, settled, back out to a wide open Bradley. Missed the 3. Offensive rebound. Swung around to Caleb Love wide open from 3. Missed the 3.
Ok. So we missed... but that is literal progress. If that ball goes inside to Ballo it never goes back out and usually results in a foul where maybe we get 1 point, maybe we don't.
It is interesting to see real basketball played when you put the correct players onto the court.
And then the team is Loose, Caleb Love goes up for his next 3 and hits it no problem.

Wow, what a dog shit performance for what could have easily been a 110-60 type game. Tommy is hopeless. If the decision between Boswell and Bradley is this big of a liability hurting the chemistry of the team then he should just take both out of the mix. Those 2 players proved to me today that they cannot coexist on the floor nor on the same team. The entire Washington run down the stretch came with Boswell and Bradley out there together. That was sad to see. I don't blame either of them for that. I put that on Tommy. He clearly was trying to send a message to them both at this point and he sent it hard. Now the world knows what the issue is.
This is getting worse and worse by the game. It is a true shame to be able to see what we could be and that we are never going to grab that brass ring the way we are approaching it.
I want to be able to say Onward and Up Beardown in good faith, but I'd be blowing smoke to everyone and I am not in the business of false hope. Clearly we are what we are with Tommy's unwillingness to adjust. A heavily flawed team that is floating off of early success that got figured out.
Teams that adjust and play to their strengths are the ones that win in the end. The willingness to admit you are not going to win the way you "want to", but are happy with winning however you "need to" is the difference between Champions and clout chasers.
There can only be 1 champion, but losing a well played hard fought game is a completely different feeling than being a team that couldn't get out of their own way.

Three losses in months 1-2 and three losses in months 3-4. Pretty sure things aren't getting worse by the game, especially considering that two of the conference losses were Wazzu, who will unquestionably be in the Top-15 next week (if not the Top-10).

The team is getting worse by the game. Not sure how you cannot see it. Eitherway, Onward and Up.
