Dino Babers will be the new Arizona 🏈 offensive coordinator/QB coach!

Arizona football is finalizing its coaching staff as Brent Brennan made an impressive hire on Thursday. The Wildcats have been in need of a new offensive coordinator and it sounds like they found one in former Syracuse head coach, Dino Babers.

Babers will not only serve as the offensive coordinator, but he will also be the quarterback coach, according to Troy Hutchinson of Arizona Rivals. Arizona football will aim to improve its offense with this move.

I don't recall Syracuse lighting it up overall, but they did win some decent matchups in recent years. I think it was Purdue that they had a little tussle with. Overall if he can add to the installed offensive system that we've been running under Noah, then it should be fine. If he's coming in to try to change what we do by large then I'm not sure.

I LOVE this hire.  Babers has connections on both the East/West Coasts and more importantly knows the Polynesian community.  His offense was a bit of a rollercoaster at Syracuse.  I remember them lighting it up...then disappearing for long stretches.

Regardless, he has a nice resume and will likely be a solid recruiter.  Well done.
