Was Hunley considered the other Co-DC when they supposedly offered Akina?  You'd think that he would be the priority after Nansen leaves but perhaps Akina prefers to work in Nansen's shadows, instead of doing the work on his own?

I am not sure, but IF Pete is out and just hanging around maybe he can come on as our new OC for his son Brennan?

I couldn't imagine Pete Carroll taking the full time job in Tucson but if he does, it would be a ridiculous recruiting boost. He was already one of the two oldest head coaches in the NFL.

It was fun being a football school while it lasted. I would consider coming hat in hand to beg Rich Rod to come back.

After Today, maybe Mike McCarthy will be looking for a jerrrb.
