Former University of Arizona basketball player Chance Comanche was released by the G League Stockton Kings on Friday after he was arrested as a person of interest in an out-of-state FBI investigation.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office assisted FBI agents in apprehending Comanche, authorities told The Sacramento Bee. Comanche, 27, is being held without bail at the Sacramento County Main Jail, according to records by the Sheriff's Office. His first appearance before a judge is scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday in Sacramento Superior Court. Jail records indicate Comanche's felony arrest fell under a California penal code provision allowing for a peace officer to arrest a person "charged by a verified complaint ... with the commission of any crime in any other state.
It is unknown what charges Comanche faces in another state and it was unclear where in Sacramento County he was apprehended. The FBI did not immediately respond to a request for comment Friday afternoon.
Sad to hear this news as Chance has been doing well in the G League.

Dang, that is too bad. Maybe he let his playing get to his head, seems like that is the case for these younger players.
Any rumors as to why? FBI? Shees, can't be good! Says out of state complaint, so maybe AZ?
Part of the crime of interest or the crime itself must have occured when crossing or part of crossing state lines for the FBI to be involved.

When Chance made the terrible decision to leave school early and posted a picture of himself with a rented sports car and the caption "chase a paycheck, never chase a bitch" I knew he was a dumbass.
WOW, 1st degree kidnapping!
"An NBA G League player was arrested on Friday over the disappearance of a woman in Las Vegas, according to KLAS. Chance Comanche, a center with the Stockton Kings, was charged with first-degree kidnapping in connection to Washington resident Marayna Rodgers's disappearance."

Good God, man. Tragic disregard for the victims life and their own.
Really sorry to see it.
Which player on the current roster is most likely to become a future alleged murder?
