Reading the 247 best class rankings for next year, I think 6 of the top 13 were in the new B12.
Not sure how many times that happened in the PAC12. Also 4 of them are in PAC12 (AZ,ASU,Colorado,USC) now! Along with Kansas and TCU.
The conference will not be a truck stop.
It should be an extremely competitive conference. The Big-12 has finished atop the regular season SOS rankings in a consistent basis but you rarely hear about it because ESPN is obsessed with the SEC and ACC (specifically Dook).
USC is going to the Big Ten but we have five programs in the top 13 and seven of the top-25 because Baylor and Cincy snuck in.
Assu won't be relevant but they're getting some love for the recruiting class. Too bad Hurley can't win a "real" round of 64 tournament game.

I stupidly forgot about USC.
I was initially mad at USC for bailing but now Arizona is in a better place. Competitive conference with better visibility, start times and a tv deal that doesn't include AppleTV (and less than $20MM/year).
Thanks, Trojans...and good look traveling to beautiful New Jersey for road games
